With such a variety of wonderful attractions just a short drive from Khon Kaen, we can show you a lot in just a few days, including some of Thailand’s best ancient ruins, national parks, and handicraft villages. We also have three- to five-day tours that begin in Bangkok plus short trekking and birdwatching tours. If none of these tours take you where you want to go, then let us custom make a tour for you.

Dinosaurs & Dragon Fruits / 2 Days

Besides a variety of important and interesting dinosaur sites, the Phu Wiang mountains serve up some fantastic natural scenery and the villages offer a look at a simple self-sufficient local lifestyle.

Elephant Encounter / 3 Days

Walk with, bathe, feed, and observe these majestic animals; all while they are unchained and free to interact socially. There’s also plenty of time to visit historic sites, handicraft villages, and temples.

Elephant Encounter Express / 2 Days

This abbreviated version of our Elephant Encounter tour, ideal for weekends, still gives you the same full elephant experience as the original, but cuts most (though not all) of the cultural tour stops.

Elephant Encounter Plus / 4 Days

This extended version of our regular Elephant Encounter tour adds an extra day of temples and handicraft villages, and also provides some additional time in the elephant village.

Khao Yai & Khorat / 5 Days

Besides watching wildlife in this world-famous national park, this trip visits several historic sites, including the Khmer ruins of Phimai; explores some big caves; and stops in several handicraft villages.

This is a short version of our Khao Yai & Khorat tour, but there is still enough time for a full day exploring the national park plus a visit to Phimai, and some handicraft stops.

One of our most popular tours, it features some stunning mountain and Mekong River scenery in rural Loei province. Also visit the bizarre Sala Kaew Ku sculpture park and the historic town of Chiang Khan.

Sangkhom Stopover / 3 Days

The highlight of this tour is the Mekong River scenery and the bizarrely beautiful rock formations in Phu Phrabat Historical Park, but the villages and temples along the way also interesting.

Southern Isan Shortcut / 4 Days

The stunning Khmer-era temples of Phanom Rung and Muang Tam; silk-weaving villages; and an elephant village are this tour’s highlights. But, the historic Buddhist temples and other craft centers are also delightful.
